The week features a film showing, a panel discussion, guest speakers, and a march & rally to speak out against sexual violence.

Monday, April 11, 4 – 6 p.m. Front Range Community College will be showing the film, The Hunting Ground, a film examining sexual assault on college campuses.

Missoula – Panel Discussion

A panel discussion featuring MESA’s own Dr. Janine D’Anniballe will be held Tuesday, April 12, 12:30 – 2 p.m. in Front Range Community College’s Community Room. Dr. D’Anniballe will be joined by Chief Trial Deputy, Katharina Booth, Deputiy Chief of Police, Randy Repola, and Boulder County Campus Counselor, Paul Derby to discuss John Krakauer’s book Missoula; a book discussing sexual assault and the justice system.

Join us as Shatter the Silence Week wraps up on Thursday, April 14th from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Front Range Community College, Larimer Campus. Take Back the Night will feature a rally, a march, speakers, and collaborative art projects. The evening’s speakers feature MESA’s own Camilo Casas, as well as CU’s Director of Office of Victim Assistance, Jessica Ladd-Webert, and author, Lynn Hall.
