Purpose: 

To promote and implement Mental Health Partners’ (MHP) Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA) program’s community engagement initiatives with a focus on raising awareness about sexual assault and to generate revenue for the MESA program.

Job Summary: 

This position will lead MESA’s efforts in raising awareness about sexual assault and MESA’s programs, and in securing financial resources for the team.   This position develops and implements community engagement events and solicits grants and donations from government institutions, foundations, individuals, and businesses.  This position coordinates with Mental Health Partners’ marketing team to ensure consistency of messaging and approaches with external audiences.

Education/Experience/License/Certification

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least two years’ professional experience in fundraising, communications, or public relations required
• Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or human services preferred
