Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA) is a program of Mental Health Partners, a non-profit organization located in Boulder, Colorado. The MESA team relies on support from grants and donations from the community to serve as the only rape-crisis center in Boulder and Broomfield counties. Since 1972, MESA has helped thousands of survivors of sexual assault, their friends and families.
MESA hosts fundraisers throughout the year to raise funds and community awareness.
The Canine Classic is a dog-friendly 5k run/walk for participants of all ages. A canine companion is welcomed but not required. This is a professionally times event that can be used as a BolderBoulder qualifying time. This event, now in its 16th year, is traditionally held each April.
The Brave, Bold & Beautiful
The Brave, Bold, & Beautiful is a fundraising event held to honor survivors of sexual assault and individuals who are committed to the mission of MESA. We believe that every person has the right to live free of sexual assault. We are moving to end sexual assault and the suffering it causes in our community. We challenge all forms of oppression and recognize their connection to sexual violence.
